CONNECTICUT TITANS COLLEGIATE BASEBALL TEAM

The CT Titans summer college baseball team will again be competing in the Hudson Valley Collegiate Baseball League, but will have a new home at All Star Batting.  This team is for serious college level baseball players and is structured to allow each player to work on their game, but still have time to participate in a summer internship or job.  The season begins in early June and runs through July.  Players will practice one to two times per week and play a 28-game schedule.  Players will also be permitted to use All Star Batting located in Brookfield & New Fairfield during the summer season to train.

Coaching Staff:
 
Dave Fleming – attended University of Georgia and earned his graduate degree from the University of New Haven.  Drafted in the 3rd round by Seattle and had an accomplished MLB pitching career.  Prior to being drafted, played at the University of Georgia including UGA’s 1990 College World Series championship in which Dave earned the save in the Championship game vs. Oklahoma State.  Graduated Mahopac High School.  In his post-MLB career, Dave teaches 5th grade and is a pitching instructor at All Star Batting.
 
Kevin Gilroy – attended UConn Avery Point where Kevin still holds many hitting records as their starting short stop and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut.  Graduated New Fairfield High School.  Co-owner and instructor at All Star Batting in Brookfield & New Fairfield for over 20-years.  Kevin has instructed many players…youth, High School, College and those selected in the MLB draft who still come back in their off-season to work with him.
